Content Strategy Forum 2010

[Revised] Since originally posting this conference event, we have been joined by two other STC communities in putting the event on, the STC TransAlpine Chapter and the STC Europe Special Interest Group. The title is now officially Content Strategy Forum 2010, and it's really shaping up to be something special. More than ever before, this is one you don't want to miss.

It will be both enlightening and fun. The 15 April will be devoted to a workshops and there will be 4 to choose from (announced on the main STC France site as they are confirmed). The 16 April will be the main day of presentations, including a closing panel session focused on content strategy in Europe, book raffles, a social event and more.

We also expect to have some contests and other opportunities to win passes to both workshops and the main day program.

Let us know now if you think you'll be attending the conference by RSVP-ing to this event. An RSVP here is not a commitment, but do be honest with your responses, as this information helps us with our early planning.

I just RSVPd that I might attend, and I definitely would if I were in France. However, because I'm in California, I can only commit to trying at this point.

I will definitely attend and make sure our students are involved too.
Of course, you set my expectations high after this year's conference, but I'm sure STC France will meet that challenge :-)

I don't know if I can travel this far for the conference, but well if I am somewhere in Europe, I will definitely bump in. Anyway, Destry: do you have a schedule? please share the presentations as and when it happens. Thanks!

Frustratingly (at least to me), we are still ironing out some details about scope and still in the process of initial speaker invites. As soon as we have a schedule to make public, it will be available from the main site's conference pages.

Well, I can't seem to edit the content of this event, but the dates are now actually the 15-16 April for sure, with the 17th still up in the air for the AGM.

We'll be posting more information on Forum Event at the main web site by Friday of this week.

Three boardmembers of the TransAlpine Chapter (CJ Walker, Claudia Basso, and myself) will attend as we are joining forces with STCF for this conference. We are currently identifying the communication strategy for reaching out to the TAC community to let our members understand the reasons for doing a group conference this year.
